I was hoping to get MS Visio for Mac. I understood that MS Visio is not available for Mac (unless going through the Virtual Machine Route running windows).
I'd like to use the app for drawing floor plans easily. The benefit MS Visio gave me was that I could place actual walls, windows, and doors, by drag and dropping them and then changing the length/size if necessary.
Creately is an excellent Visio equivalent for Mac which also has a free desktop app. Creately can import VDX and VSDX files although to export them to Visio you can only export to the more limited SVG format. The desktop app isn’t just a browser extension either – it’s a proper desktop client which you can download and install on your Mac. VSD Viewer is a professional Visio reader for Mac. Download Visio Viewer to open flowcharts of VSD, VDX, VSDX file formats on Mac and convert them to PDF. Can someone recommend me an app that'll do that? Ideally for free, but I would consider a paid app.
