I guess i should have been able to figure that out on my own but sometimes it's just nice to hear a suggestion. Anyways, reinstalling caused it to stop the report crash cycle although i think there is some weird thing with spotify (as well as other apps that use a separate app to report the crash) because if you don't take the time to send the crash report.
Due to a malfunction, numerous iOS apps stopped working for about half an hour on 10 July 2020. There were apparently hundreds of broken apps included Spotify, Deezer, booking.com, Pinterest. Affected apps include Spotify, Pinterest, TikTok and many more, 9to5 Mac wrote. According to Down Detector, the problems started at around 11:32 BST, and are affecting users around the world.
I don’t know why this happens, but it has often enough that it’s worth writing down. Spotify will just shut down / crash spontaneously and then when trying to start it again, it briefly flashes as it opens and closes again. This seems to be more of a problem on Windows 8 though I see a lot of reports on desktop Macs as well (for which this solution won’t apply exactly, but the principle may remain the same).

After deleting this, when you launch Spotify it will ask you to log in again. Your playlists etc. shouldn’t be harmed as they are stored on Spotify’s servers, but you will, I believe, lose any ‘stored’/downloaded music, but if that’s not an issue for you, give it a go (perhaps rename the folders if you are wary of deleting them). Good luck!

With Spotify, you can access your music via web player or app — on your Android phone, iOS device, or computer. Generally regarded as a very stable piece of software, Spotify is not entirely fault-proof. You may occasionally run into playback issues, unresponsiveness, slowdowns, or one of the internal error codes, which you can’t decipher right away. In this article, we’ll go over some of the most common Spotify issues and how to fix them, starting from the pausing error.

“Why does my current song randomly stop playing when using Spotify?”, a significant number of users have found themselves asking the dreaded question. The issue behind the unexpected playback stopping is a peculiarity of Spotify older versions. It is caused by simultaneous use of the same account on multiple devices.
